The Clear Aligners ConceptThe most common complaints about traditional braces are the pain and discomfort following each appointment when the wires are tightened or adjusted. With clear aligners, there is none of that. There are no wires and no brackets at all. Clear aligners do not secure anything to the patient’s teeth at all. The trays are swapped out every two weeks, to maintain the proper pressure and ensure the orthodontic treatment goal is met. Why Clear Aligners?There are no sharp edges with clear aligners. Nothing to poke the patient’s tongue, gums, or the inside of their cheeks. Many patients have issues with traditional braces rubbing the soft tissues of their mouth raw.
